The Afghan Whigs have returned with their first new music in five years, a new single titled "I'll Make You See God." It's due to be featured in PlayStation's forthcoming Gran Turismo 7 video game, but for now, you can listen to it in full down below.
The track arrives via Royal Cream/BMG and comes accompanied by an animated lyric video. "I'll Make You See God" marks the group's first new material since releasing In Spades in 2017, the same year that guitarist Dave Rosser passed away. New guitarist Christopher Thorn joins the band on the single.
"That's one of the hardest rock songs we've ever done," singer Greg Dulli said of the song in a release. "It was written and performed on sheer adrenalin."
The group will take their new material on the road with them this spring on a short run of US tour dates. Sadly, they will not be making any stops in Canada on the trek.
