Lollapalooza Unveils Initial 2019 Lineup with Tame Impala, Janelle Monáe, Lil Wayne

The Chicago fest will also feature Tenacious D, Slash, Calpurnia, Lil Baby, Gunna and more

Festival season is right around the corner, and Chicago's Lollapalooza has thrown its hat into the ring with an impressive first lineup announcement.

The festival, which takes over Chicago's Grant Park from August 1 to 4, has unveiled its first batch of artists, and it looks to offer a little something for everyone this year.

The initial lineup reveal includes Tame Impala, Janelle Monáe, Lil Wayne, Rosalía, Yaeji, J Balvin, Tenacious D, Slash (of Guns N' Roses), Gunna, Calpurnia, Lil Baby, Lil Skies and Madeon.

Of course, that's just scratching the surface, as we can expect a full lineup announcement soon.

The first batch of artists were revealed in a collaborative video with Billy Corgan's favourite organization PAWS Chicago. In addition to the artists' names, it features plenty of adorable pups that are up for adoption. Watch the full video below.
