The last time we heard from Swim Good, he was delivering a clip for the Darren Seltmann-produced, RLMDL-featuring "Saturday." Not to say that Saturdays aren't a day worth celebrating, but now he's returned with something a little more festive.
The Ontario songsmith (real name Jon Lawless) has offered up Christmas classic "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" with an accompanying video. The clip opens up with an anecdote about a visit to the south before the Americana-inspired, banjo-driven rendition of the yuletide carol kicks in and Christmas-lit snowmen and reindeer take over.
There's also holiday-friendly footage of family and friends, adding an extra little bit of cheer to the already-warm take on the Christmasy tune. Give it a watch below.
