Though the newfound maximalist approach calls into question the song title, Vancouver's Sur Une Plage have reached out to old pal and expat Jack Duckworth (a.k.a. Sheffield, UK-based darkwave dabbler Soft Riot) to deliver an even more synth-slathered remix of their Legerdemain single, "Minimum."
It's a reunion of sorts, with Sur Une Plage's Joshua Wells and Duckworth having previously played together in late '90s neo-new wave project Radio Berlin. The remix reflects their current endeavours, though, with Duckworth applying seasick analogue keyboard textures to the Canadian duo's gently bounced synth-pop number.
You'll find the brothers-in-arms redo down below.
Meanwhile, Duckworth revealed in a Facebook post that he has a new album called You Never Know What Might Come Next being released sometime in the near future, along with a video for the title cut.
