It must officially be autumn, because self-described childless dog lady Stevie Nicks has announced that she has a new single coming out tomorrow (September 27).
Now available to pre-save, "The Lighthouse" is previewed by a six-second clip wherein the Fleetwood Mac legend's shadow dances, backlit at the top of — you guessed it — a lighthouse, while bats swirl about in the rain all spooky-like.
"I wanna teach you to fight," Nicks sings in her first new music since her 2022 cover of Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth," as well as 2020 solo single "Show Them the Way" and the "Edge of Midnight" mash-up with Miley Cyrus that same year.
The singer-songwriter will presumably perform the new song when she's the musical guest on Saturday Night Live next month. Check out the preview clip of "The Lighthouse" below.
