Sons Of Otis

Originally released five years ago on the missing-in-action Hypnotic label, Sons of Otis' debut full-length has finally been mastered properly and re-released by Mans Ruin. Apparently, the record was never mastered upon its initial release, the Darren Berry produced record was just released as is and even like that the record was a monster. Now in its abridged version (the three songs that were re-recorded for Templeball were omitted), the record is a complete juggernaut. Led by the giant wall of sound that Otis has become famous for, the seven tracks are some of the heaviest dirge-filled doom rock you are ever gonna hear. Hear it again for the first time. Mesmerising.
