Someone Is Trying to Make a Coldplay LEGO Set Happen

For some reason I can't explain

A Coldplay fan is trying to get a diorama of the band's record-breaking Music of the Spheres tour inducted into the LEGO universe.

A prototype on the LEGO Ideas board shows the band performing on stage in LEGO form, with fireworks emerging in the background. The designer — who goes by the screen name MIKEYDENDEN — also designed the side stage the band steps out onto during their shows, and made a LEGO replica of each of the band members in detail. To his credit, that takes some pretty intense fandom.

"I have been inspired to design this diorama of the main stage and a side build of the 'C-Stage' from the tour as a tribute to the amazing work they do!" MIKEYDENDEN wrote in the product description. "From confetti to fireworks and colourful lights, I have tried to encapsulate the feel of the tour into this small and colourful set which I am proud to ask for your support for."

As of time of publication, MIKEYDENDEN reached the 10,000 supporters needed for the required pieces to be sold together as a set. This is likely in part thanks to Coldplay themselves, who shared the fan project to their social media.
