Even with Chris Martin's insistence that Coldplay are going to retire soon, the soft rock sweethearts are still out here breaking records like they're never going to quit. This time, they've taken home the prize for biggest arena shows played in the 21st century after performing for 220,000 people across two nights.

The band played two shows in Ahmedabad, India, over the weekend (January 25 and 26), with 110,000 people in attendance at each. These also mark Coldplay's biggest shows yet.

Though Moon Music dropped in October, the band are still on the Music of the Spheres tour, likely in part because it's the second highest-grossing tour in history behind the Eras Tour. It's also the same tour that saw the band reduce their show's emissions by more than half.

The Music of the Spheres tour — and hopefully its bespoke stage pylons — will come to Toronto to play four sold-out shows in July.
