Soccer Mommy has launched a new Bandcamp singles series for charity. The project, titled the Soccer Mommy & Friends Singles Series, arrives today with the release of two songs.

The singles compilation features appearances by Jay Som, MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden, Beabadoobee and Beach Bunny. Today, Jay Som's rendition of Soccer Mommy's color theory track "lucy" arrives from the project alongside Soccer Mommy's take on Som's 2016 single "I Think You're Alright."

"I'm super excited to kick things off with this Jay Som collab because Melina really made such an awesome new version of 'lucy,'" Soccer Mommy wrote in a statement about the series. "I have also always loved her song 'I Think You're Alright,' so it was great to get a chance to cover it. It has such a sweet tenderness to it that just makes you feel warm inside."

All proceeds from the sale of the record on Bandcamp will benefit Oxfam's COVID-19 relief fund, a charity that aims "to reach more than 14 million people in nearly 50 countries and the U.S. to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 in vulnerable communities and support people's basic food needs and livelihoods."

The series will feature new releases every two weeks.
