Sam Smith has announced their fourth studio album, Gloria, is set to arrive January 27 via Capitol Records.
Made alongside Smith's long-time collaborators Jimmy Napes, Stargate and Max Martin collaborator ILYA, Gloria will dive into contemporary narratives around sex, lies, passion and imperfection. Also bringing in ideas of self-expression, the record has been both a creative and personal revelation for the 30-year-old singer.
"It feels like emotional, sexual and spiritual liberation," Smith said via press release. "It was beautiful, with this album, to sing freely again. Oddly, it feels like my first-ever record. And it feels like a coming of age."
Gloria will include the previously released tracks "Love Me More" and "Unholy" featuring Kim Petras, the latter of which has become a smash hit on TikTok, and was treated to the music video you can view below.
Further details, including the album's tracklist, have yet to be announced.
