Canadian synthpop duo Purity Ring have released a new single in advance of an extensive fall and winter tour.
The duo's new single is called "soshy." It is a buoyant, banging pop tune with an undercurrent of horror movie darkness. That eeriness is emphasized by the video, which was directed by Carson Davis Brown using archival black-and-white footage.
As for the tour, it runs throughout the fall and winter and includes a pile of U.S. stops along with Canadian dates in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Toronto and Montreal. In early 2022, Purity Ring will tour in Europe and the UK.
