Purity Ring have shared their new single "Graves" — which the duo started teasing last week — and revealed that the song is the title track to a brand new EP arriving June 3.
The band had been rolling out the single slowly, allowing fans to listen to it one at a time over at purityring.gift. But now it's out in the world for all to hear.
In a statement about the new track, Megan James said: "This song has been haunting us for 8 straight years so we're very glad to let it be heard. We hope it brings you as much joy as it has now brought us. Thank you for listening and please enjoy the beautiful music video about human cells."
The song leans to the poppier end of the Purity Ring spectrum and is a much lighter, brighter affair than last year's "soshy." Additional details about the Graves EP are currently scarce.
