Austra's Maya Postepski recently revealed plans for the next release from her electronic side project Princess Century, and before Rendezvous officially lands later this month, Exclaim! is giving you the exclusive first listen to a brand new track from the upcoming EP.
We've already heard the opener "Robber" and now you can delve a bit deeper into the new material with the arrival of "Wet." As previously explained, Postepski was drawn to the artwork (pictured above) for the way it captured the EP's titlular word — "a meeting with someone that is arranged for a particular time and place and that is often secret."
Keeping in line with those the themes of secrecy and specificity, the new song manages to maintain an aura of mystique while delivering deliberately timed waves of synth atop a pulsating beat.
Rendezvous marks the follow-up to last year's Progress LP and is set to arrive on March 25 through Paper Bag Records. Get your first listen to "Wet" in the player below.
