This year, Toronto-based label Paper Bag Records is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and to celebrate, it will host a trio of coast-to-coast concerts in Vancouver, Halifax and its hometown next month.
Running from March 4 to 6, all three nights of the festival will be accessible via one $15 wristband, which attendees can use to check out hometown shows in-person and other cities' events via Side Door livestream.
The weekend will kick off with the Vancouver showcase on Friday, March 4, which will see sets performed by FRANKIIE, Gold & Youth and Frog Eyes (a.k.a. Soft Plastics) at the Rickshaw Theatre.
Saturday's (March 5) programming will continue in Toronto at the Great Hall with a lineup of Lou Canon, Pony Girl, Princess Century, Luke Lalonde, Zoon and a closing set by "special guests." The celebrations continue on Saturday at Halifax's Seahorse Tavern with Townie, Devarrow and POSTDATA.
Sunday's online-only programming remains TBA.
