After premiering their "Degraded" single earlier in the summer, Preoccupations have now uploaded a dizzying, CGI-swirling music video for their latest post-punk cut.
As previously reported, the song puts to use band bassist Matt Flegel's low but sinewy baritone, here reporting in-song, "predictably, we gave no goals/incapable of abstract thought." With that line in mind, the video presents a series of ever-shifting, awkward shapes contorting themselves over digital desertscapes.
Preoccupations, the first release from the Calgary-formed quartet since their name change from Viet Cong, sees release September 16 through Flemish Eye/Jagjaguwar.
As previously reported, the band's North American tour kicks off this month, and you can see all their upcoming dates here.
