The Vancouver group will perform across multiple Canadian cities next spring

Vancouver indie rockers Peach Pit have announced plans for a new album titled From 2 to 3, which is due to arrive through Columbia Records on March 4. Today, the group have announced a headlining international tour that will bring them to multiple Canadian cities in support of the record.

Produced by Robbie Lackritz, the record "is a collection of songs that were written late at night, alone in a small apartment with a hushed voice so as not to wake anyone," bandleader Neil Smith said in a statement.

Smith and the band will perform cuts from the record through spring and early summer next year, making stops in Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Victoria and their hometown of Vancouver along the way. The entirety of the North American run will see support from Haley Blais, while Sun Seeker will join the European performances. Tickets for the tour go on sale next Friday (November 19) at 10 a.m. local time.

Further news from the band includes the record's second single following "Up Granville." Today, they share "Look Out!" alongside a video directed by Lester Lyons-Hookham.

According to Smith, the new track is "a nod to the apartments and neighbourhoods where we wrote these songs, and to the corner store attendants that sold us junk on those late nights."

He added: "The guys and I and our long-time collaborator Lester also went on a road trip this summer and filmed some videos that we really feel capture the spirit of the music perfectly."
