Is Paul McCartney Teasing a Covers Album with St. Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers and Beck?

It's apparently called 'IIImagined' and also features Damon Albarn, Josh Homme, Anderson .Paak and more

Paul McCartney is doing some next-level teasing today, and, according to some folks out there on the internet, it's all pointing to a new covers album called IIImagined, which will find a bunch of A-list artists reimagining his McCartney III.

On the Beatle's Instagram today, he posted a video of some rolling dice, and on those dice, you'll find a number of artist names, including St. Vincent, Beck, Josh Homme, Phoebe Bridgers and Massive Attack's 3D. You can also find names like Damon Albarn, Anderson .Paak, Radiohead's Ed O'BrienKhruangbin and Blood Orange.

UPDATE (3/11, 12 p.m. ET): The covers project has now been officially confirmed and will arrive on April 16. You can learn more here.

According to Beatlefan [via NME], this is all pointing a McCartney covers project called IIImagined. Beatlefan has even gone as far as posting the supposed dice-loaded album cover, as well as the songs included on the record.

As you'll see, the tracks all appeared on McCartney III; just like that album, IIImagined features dice on its cover.

As of press time, there's no official word on whether McCartney is indeed releasing a covers album, but you can see the supposed cover and tracklist below, where you can also watch his video teaser.

McCartney III arrived in December.
