It turns out the internet was right — Paul McCartney is indeed releasing a new McCartney III covers album featuring the likes of St. Vincent, Beck, Josh Homme and Phoebe Bridgers.
McCartney has officially announced McCartney III Imagined, which will arrive on April 16 via Capitol. As suspected, it will features a lineup of A-list artists doing covers, remixes and reinterpretations of his most recent album, McCartney III.
As previously reported, other artists involved with the project include Massive Attack's 3D, Damon Albarn, Anderson .Paak, Radiohead's Ed O'Brien, Khruangbin and Blood Orange.
