Paramore have announced their first new material in five years. New single "This Is Why" is due to arrive on September 28.
The track will arrive days ahead of their North American tour, which maps out a lone Canadian date in Toronto on November 7.
The band have been hinting at the possibility of a new album since January, when they confirmed they were in the studio for the first time since 2017's After Laughter.
So far, they've yet to formally announce a new album, though new material will apparently put "more emphasis back on the guitar," and vocalist Hayley Williams and Taylor York have been encouraging Zac Farro to "go as Animal as he wants with drum takes."
