Warpaint started teasing new music this week, but Philadelphia's Nothing seem to think the other outfit's just-launched promo campaign features some decidedly unoriginal material. Specifically, Nothing are insinuating that a video upload from Warpaint is biting a recent promo for their Tired of Tomorrow LP.
Backing up a bit, Warpaint uploaded a short video yesterday (July 28) through their social media accounts, which presents a bird's-eye view slowly closing in on a rooftop painted with the words "Heads Up" on it. As the camera gets closer, you'll realize that the members of Warpaint are lounging about on the roof as well.
A number of fans also took Warpaint to task for the alleged image cribbing. Some noted that the two pieces were too close to be considered a coincidence, while former Ten Yard Fight/In My Eyes member Anthony Pappalardo decided to poke fun at Warpaint by "revealing" the group's next album cover.

— Warpaint (@_warpaint) July 28, 2016Nothing caught wind of the promo video, and quickly pointed out the similarities to a video of their own that was uploaded earlier in the year. Theirs starts with a shot of the band playing Tired of Tomorrow track "Eaten by Worms" on a rooftop, with the camera pulling out to reveal that the album title has been scrawled out in giant letters on said surface. This up top image also serves as the album cover.
Really tho @_warpaint ?

@_warpaint Damn, this is just too close to Nothing's ToT promo that it can't be coincidence. Sad, man...

Warpaint have not responded to the claims, but it's possible Nothing, despite retweeting a ton of mentions calling the other group plagiarists, are fine with the visuals after all.@BandofNOTHING new artwork is more subtle tho pic.twitter.com/17kSOSqhCD
