Toronto-based indie rock five-piece Midday Swim recently released their self-titled debut EP, and now they've given another cut from the introductory offering the visual treatment. Exclaim! previously shared the music video for "Summer Eyes," and now we're pleased to premiere the follow-up video for "Back to You."
The new clip aims to capture the sentimental message behind the song, documenting the ups and downs of long-distance relationships. We see a girl travelling towards her lover as flashbacks from the pair's past flood her mind and the footage on screen.
Directed by Shawn Thomsen, it's a hazy, colourful look at the melancholy that comes with being apart and the anticipation of being reunited.
