Metric and Sam Roberts have been announced as performers at this year's Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony, happening at Toronto's Massey Hall on September 28.
The two acts join fellow newly announced performers Terra Lightfoot, Ariane Roy, Adam Baldwin, Matt Mays and more. Previously announced performers include the likes of William Prince, Dallas Smith, Tenille Townes, Whitehorse, AHI and Gary LeVox of Rascall Flatts. Inductees Jim Cuddy, Greg Keelor and Sarah McLachlan will also take the stage.
Alongside Cuddy, Keelor and McLachlan, 2024's other inductees are Tom Cochrane and Diane Tell. The 2024 honourees will be inducted by actor and comedian Pierre Brassard, Triumph's Gil Moore and legendary hockey broadcaster Ron MacLean.
Following the ceremony in Toronto, the Class of 2024 inductees will also be honoured at the CSHF's permanent location at Calgary's Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, which houses exclusive artifacts and one-of-a-kind memorabilia celebrating Canada's legendary songwriters and inductees.
Tickets for the induction ceremony are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
