Meek Mill Claims That Drake "Don't Write His Own Raps"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 22, 2015

Meek Mill's new album Dreams Worth More Than Money features a guest appearance from Drake on the track "R.I.C.O.," but now there seems to be beef between the two rappers, since Mill has said that Drizzy doesn't write his own lyrics.

The Philly MC made this rather audacious claim as part of a Twitter spree on Tuesday night (June 21). After complaining about being compared to Drake, he went on to declare that the Toronto superstar doesn't write his own material. He said that he would have left Drake's verse off Dreams Worth More Than Money if he had known about the alleged ghostwriting.

Mill also mocked Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend Safaree "SB" Samuels, and reminded the world that only he, not Minaj or anyone else, is responsible for his success.

See the highlights of the rant below.

UPDATE: Toronto city councillor and minor Twitter celebrity Norm Kelly has weighed in on the beef. Repping his hometown, the politician has come to the defence of Drizzy by (jokingly) banning Meek Mill from the city of Toronto.
