Montreal-based rapper Lou Phelps lined up some help from Key! and his brother Kaytranada for "Rent Is Due" last year. This time, he's once teamed up with his older bro Kaytranada for "Average," which arrives alongside a video.
The clip mixes real-world footage and animation to colourful effect, while Phelps raps about setting himself apart from all the average people he finds himself among. Adding to it all are also some sweetly sung vocals from KALLITECHNIS.
Kaytranada chimed in on Twitter to say that the sample his production is built around comes from friends and collaborators BADBADNOTGOOD.
