There's nothing like the start of a new month to drain your bank account, and Montreal-based rapper Lou Phelps is here to commiserate with a new track called "Rent Is Due."
Formerly known as Louie P, the hip-hopper has been laying relatively low since dropping a collaborative album called Supreme Laziness with his older brother Kaytranada a couple years ago, but he's once again roped in the big bro for some help on the new cut.
Produced by Planet Giza and Kaytranada, the track gets some additional help thanks to bars courtesy of Atlanta rapper Key! The track will appear on Phelps' upcoming debut mixtape, but while we await its arrival, the crew has some alternative ideas as to what you might want to spend your rent money on.
Phelps will also be heading out on tour with Kaytranada this spring, but before you take in their live magic, hear the siblings lay the groove on thick with "Rent Is Due" in the player below [via The Fader].
