Jeff Rosenstock may not have released a studio album this year, but he's remained busy by playing sax on a Cheekface number, working on the soundtrack for Craig Before the Creek and taking the Exclaim! Questionnaire. However his first solo track of the year comes right before it ends, as he's donated a song to a DIY compilation.
"The Sunrise Song" appears on California art collective Making New Enemies' Group Picture Vol. 14, alongside 40 other tracks by smaller artists. It's less than two minutes long, and is an acoustic-y ode to the games you play to trick yourself back to sleep. Listen to it below.
In other recent Rosenstock news, he recently came out as non-binary, posting, "Treat me no different, pronouns the same as they've been. I've always been non-binary just didn't know it was a thing until about eight years ago."
