Cheekface Tap Jeff Rosenstock for "Flies"

Buzz meter: off the charts

America's local band Cheekface have enlisted their friend Jeff Rosenstock's baritone sax chops on their latest single. Don't be fooled by the horns or the checkered Vans single art though — "Flies" is surprisingly not a ska reinvention.

Instead, the track finds Cheekface as they're best known. Rosenstock's buzzy sax emulates a swarm of insects, while the band — as always — find the optimism in squalor. The music video appropriately shows them playing in a room gradually being filled with boxes of flies — watch it below.

"Flies" follows the Sort Of B-side EP, which was a companion to January's It's Sorted
