Limblifter's sophomore album Bellaclava turns 20 this year, and the band are celebrating by reissuing the 2000 record. The vinyl reissue is due out on March 6 via We Are Busy Bodies.
Coming in the wake of the Age of Electric spinoff's self-titled 1996 debut, Bellaclava originally spawned singles "Ariel vs. Lotus" and "Wake Up to the Sun."
In addition to the rest of the album's original tracklist, the vinyl reissue will feature two previously unreleased tracks from that era. It will arrive as a double-LP set, with each record pressed at 45rpm. The reissue is limited to 300 copies, and you can order it now.
Limblifter will embark on a tour this month in conjunction with the reissue, including stops in London, Toronto, Victoria and Vancouver. Check out the full list of dates below.
Bellaclava was followed up by 2004's I/O, then the band returned in 2015 with Pacific Milk. Their debut album received a similar reissue in 2012.
Frontman Ryan Dahle is also currently one third of Canadian indie rock supergroup Mounties.
