Limblifter

'Limblifter' (Remastered) (album stream)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 11, 2012

Vancouver alt-rockers Limblifter are all set to release a remastered vinyl pressing of their debut self-titled album, but you can listen to the results right now.

Initially coming as an Age of Electric side-project, the album shot the Ryan and Kurt Dahle-led Limblifter to fame, earning them a deal with Mercury Records, an opening slot with Oasis when they played Vancouver and a handful of Juno nominations, not to mention a steady stop on '90s Canadian rock radio.

Originally released in 1996, Limblifter featured hits like "Tinfoil," "Vicious" and "Screwed It Up." The reissue is being brought to fans by Toronto imprint We Are Busy Bodies and owner Eric Warner described the band as part of his "musical education." Upon finding out that it had never been released on vinyl, he "became determined to change that."

Well, now the classic Can-rock album can make its way on to nostalgic fans' turntables thanks to the label, but you can also stream Limblifter in all its remastered glory below before it's released on Tuesday (July 17).
