Kinski Sign to Kill Rock Stars for New Album

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 23, 2012

Last April, Seattle post-rock troupe Kinski announced that they were putting the finishing touches on their first album since 2007's Down Below It's Chaos. The only problem was, they didn't have a label to issue it on, having departed from longtime label Sub Pop. Well, the band are back in business, and will now team up with another iconic Pacific Northwest imprint, Kill Rock Stars, to deliver the set.

While neither the band nor the label have confirmed the pairing on their respective ends, Seattle's Stranger announced the business deal on their Line Out blog yesterday (August 22). The publication reports that the next album is tentatively titled Cosy Moments, a reference to English author P.G. Wodehouse's 1915 novel Psmith, Journalist (which was originally published in serial form between 1909-10).

Concrete details like album art and the tracklisting have yet to surface, but the record will reportedly arrive in March.
