This week saw Kaytranada make history as the first Black artist ever to win the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album with BUBBA, and as a treat for both longtime followers and new listeners, the Montreal-based producer has shared some early career releases on Bandcamp.

Along with rework collections Remixes Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, the artist has uploaded four releases from he went by Kaytradamus — TERIPHIKNESS, Kaytra Da Mouse, Kaytra LaBoom and Kaytra Nada — in addition single "Long Distance," which he and Lou Phelps created as the Celestics.

The drop gives the uninitiated an excellent overview of how the producer worked to develop his inimitable feel and style, which contemporaries have since tried their best to emulate. As he reminds us on the Bandcamp page, "I've been here since 2009."

You can delve into Kaytranada's early years with the players below, and can head to Bandcamp where each release is available to stream and purchase for a limited time.

Following Kaytranada's Grammy wins, frequent collaborator Mick Jenkins shared team-up "Designer Frames." Earlier this year, the producer shared single "Caution."

BUBBA also recently netted Kaytranada a pair of 2021 Juno Award nominations, for Producer of the Year and Dance Recording of the Year.
