Halifax rapper Kayo just dropped his S.L.A.V.E. EP through Black Box, and having previously promised to release a video for the single "Don't Bring Me Down," that clip has now arrived.
The song finds Kayo dropping thoughtful rhymes over a melancholic beat, and the clip is similarly earnest and heartfelt. We see the Canada-based/Saint Lucia-born musician walking through the streets and rapping while an animated crown hovers above his head like a halo. His followers wear armbands, and Kayo ends up spreading the word to a crowd of folks on the beach.
