Kanye West Doxxes Drake's Address Following Diss Track

Drake targeted West with his verse on last week's Trippie Redd track "Betrayal"

Well, this escalated quickly. Amid rising tensions between Kanye West and Drake, the former shared the latter's home address with his 7.4 million followers in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Last Friday (August 20), Drake was featured on "Betrayal," a new single by rapper Trippie Redd. As the title would suggest, grievances were definitely aired. Some of the lyrics of Drake's verse directly call out West: "All these fools I'm beefin' that I barely know / 45, 44 (Burned out), let it go / Ye ain't changin' shit for me, it's set in stone."

The rap titans and former collaborators have been feuding for quite some time. But recently, rumours have been swirling that West is looking to release his long-delayed album DONDA on the same day that Drizzy releases his likewise long-delayed Certified Lover Boy.

Of course, the pettiness doesn't end there: after the Trippie Redd diss dropped, West appeared to respond with a threatening screenshot from a group chat that seemingly included Pusha T.

"I live for this," West wrote. "I've been fucked with by nerd ass jock n****s like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you."

And it gets worse: on Sunday night (August 22), West reportedly posted Drake's Toronto home address on Instagram. Yeezy quickly deleted it — and Drake's mansion is practically a tourist destination at this point, so the address is widely available online — but still, it was a shady move.

Drizzy didn't seem fazed, posting an Instagram story afterwards where he and his shiny teeth can be seen driving around the city late at night, laughing all the way.

We can probably expect a lot more back and forth from these two rivals if/when they ever do set release dates for Certified Lover Boy and DONDA.

Last week, Drake casually revealed that he'd contracted COVID to explain his faded fade. OVO also launched a merch collaboration with the University of Toronto. Meanwhile, West announced a third DONDA listening event.
