Proving that just about anything is possible in this day and age, long-dormant punk gods Jawbreaker announced that they were reuniting for Riot Fest. Apparently that's not all they've got planned, as a long-in-the-works documentary about the band is also forthcoming.
The documentary is called Don't Break Down: A Film About Jawbreaker, and it's been in the works for a decade. Now, it looks as if the film is finally nearing completion.
Today (May 4 — which just so happens to be Jawbreaker Day), Riot Fest shared a brief excerpt from the documentary. In the clip, producer Steve Albini admits he's made the same mistake as so many of us and confused the bands Jawbox and Jawbreaker.
Watch the Don't Break Down clip below. When the movie finally drops, it will feature interviews with Billie Joe Armstrong, Steve Albini, Jessica Hopper, Graham Elliot, Chris Shiflett, Josh Caterer and others.
