Before his ascent to EDM stardom and collaborations with superstars like Rick Ross, M.I.A. and Justin Bieber, Skrillex was merely Sonny Moore — a member of Florida emo outfit From First to Last. In 2007, after recording Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count and Heroine with the band, Moore went solo, but rumours started circulating late last year that the man now known as Skrillex had been back in the studio with his old band.
Turns out that was totally true, and the band have now unveiled what they were working on. Skrillex joined his old crew on a new track called "Make War," co-writing, producing and singing vocals on the cut.
There's no word yet on whether the single will spawn a full album in the future, but for now, you can hear Skrillex rejoin From First to Last on "Make War" below.
