The Harpoonist & the Axe Murder to Make 'A Real Fine Mess' on Canadian Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 2, 2017

BC-based duo the Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer have been making A Real Fine Mess of things since they issued their bluesy rock album of the same name last June, and the duo have now revealed that they'll keep the chaos going this fall with a new batch of concert dates.

Following a few previously revealed appearances in the Maritimes this month and a U.S. appearance in Nashville, the Harpoonist (a.k.a. vocalist Shawn Hall) and the Axe Murderer (a.k.a. drummer/guitarist Matthew Rogers) will be carving out a path along Western Canada. The October trip has them heading from Chilliwack, BC, to Winnipeg and back, with a Vancouver performance also booked November 8 at the Commodore Ballroom.

The twosome have been off and on the road since A Real Fine Mess's release. Exclaim!'s caught the act at the Regina Folk Festival and the Ness Creek Festival in the summer.
