Hamilton's Because Beer Festival Announces 2022 Lineup with Dwayne Gretzky, Dear Rouge

Capitol and Born in the Eighties will also perform

Hamilton, ON's Because Beer Craft Beer Festival has announced details of its 2022 event, which will return to the city's waterfront Pier 4 Park from July 15 to 16.

In addition to food trucks, a free arcade and dozens of breweries and cideries, the 2022 festival will also host two days of musical performances. This year's event — now in its seventh season — will see Dwayne Gretzky and Born in the Eighties covering the Friday night festivities, while Saturday's performances will be handled by Dear Rouge and Capitol. More appearances are due to be announced ahead of the event.

Vendors for this year's event include Bench Brewing Co., Black Fly Beverages, Cameron's Brewing Co., Clifford Brewing Co., Collective Arts Brewing, Common Good Beer Co., Concession Road Brewing Co., Counterpart Brewing, Creemore Springs Brewery, The Duxbury Cider Co., Fairweather Brewing Co., Founders Original Inc., Grain & Grit Beer Co., Harmon's Craft Brewing, Hop City Brewing Co., Hop Valley Brewing Co., Indie Alehouse Brewing Co., Ironwood Cider House, Junction Craft Brewing, Merit Brewing, Nickel Brook Brewing Co., Royal City Brewing Co., Sawdust City Brewing Co., Society of Beer Drinking Ladies, Stockyards Brewing Co., Stonehooker Brewing Co., Thornbury Craft Co., Town Brewery, Wellington Brewery, West Avenue Cider House and Wishbone Brewing Co.

Single-day tickets, which include one Because Beer tasting glass and three four-ounce sampling tokens, are on sale now for $29.99 plus fees and taxes. Weekend passes ($39.99 plus fees and taxes) include one Because Beer tasting glass and six four-ounce sampling tokens. You can get yours here.

Attendees will be required to provide government-issued ID as this is a 19+ event.
