Besides playing in the world's greatest lo-fi, fuzz-soaked, post-grunge, hardcore-inspired rock duo, No Age, Dean Spunt also happens to run Post Present Medium, the taste-making record label responsible for crucial releases from Mika Miko, Abe Vigoda, Eric Copeland and many others. Come this February, PPM will be releasing the debut album from Olympia, WA lo-fi trio Gun Outfit.
Their debut, self-titled seven-inch was released by PPM last year and Dim Light will be released on February 17 on vinyl and CD. The CD will include the three tracks from the seven-inch but we all know its better to have a twelve-inch and a seven-inch than a CD with both. Stereogum is currently streaming album cut "In The Dark" here.
The band are reportedly planning a North American tour for March and April, including a stop at the SXSW festival.
Dim Light tracklisting:
1. "Work Experience"
2. "Troubles Like Mine"
3. "Guilt And Regret"
4. "Valley, The"
5. "In The Dark"
6. "Control"
7. "Cocaine Woman"
8. "Had Enough"
