The Gay Nineties and the Wet Secrets Head Off on Canadian Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished May 29, 2014

Parker Bossley has been playing shows as the bassist of Mounties, but in the coming weeks he will be touring Canada as the frontman of his own band, the Gay Nineties. The trek will be a co-headlining jaunt with Shout Out Out Out Out associates the Wet Secrets.

The joint outing kicks off tonight (May 29) in Kelowna, BC, and runs for the better part of a month. In that time, the groups will start off in British Columbia before heading across the Prairies and winding up in Ontario.

The Gay Nineties have a new album, co-produced with Scott Ternan (54-40, Sam Roberts) and mixed by Hot Hot Heat's Steve Bays, due out this fall. Their recent single is called "Letterman," and it's streaming at the bottom of this page. A video for the track is forthcoming.

The Wet Secrets will be promoting their 2014 album Free Candy.
