Gang Signs

"So Long" (video)

Gang Signs released their debut LP Geist through File Under: Music last year, and are now looking back on the release with a new video for album cut "So Long."

Directed by bandleader Peter Ricq, the clip follows two teenage friends who get up to some wild adventures after being left home alone, including sneaking some spirits from the liquor cabinet, robbing a drug dealer, and smashing a few things up in their parents' house.

"This is a short narrative film reminiscent of some of our favourite films," Ricq said of the video. "As a teenager, it was always such a big deal when your parents would leave you home alone, they trusted you and you had to plan on how to get away with as much shit as possible. I wanted to capture those moments, hoping the audience liked the sequences enough to watch it over again."

To further look back at their debut, the band will be releasing a digital remix EP of tracks from Geist, including work form Ricq's HUMANS, Vincent Parker, Autem and more. The band will also heading out on tour this June, which you can find dates for below.
