This Montreal-area guitar rock group lies at the crossroads where Steeley Dan meets a washed-up, low-budget Robin Trower, but add in some I Mother Earth-type grooves for good measure. The very up-front singing is a little suspiciously distorted in time and speed, and as a result brings the listener to the crossroads of irritation. Perhaps this is why the guitars sound as if they are shouting from a distance for you, the listener, to run away with them, away from this Marino guy.
