Flatbush Zombies are back with a new single, and they've roped in none other than James Blake to lend a hand. Together, they've released the new track "Afterlife," which is the first material under their newly formed creative umbrella since first meeting back in 2018.

"Afterlife" arrives via a video, which was shot in pre-pandemic Paris and was directed by Arnaud Bresson.

In a statement, Bresson said the following: "Today, there is no technology that X-ray films a living being without endangering it, so we worked hand in hand with a post-production company to develop a technical device that would allow us to achieve a similar effect. We used multi-camera tracking, recorded the positions and movements of our characters to extract and apply to our 3D compositions. It took four months of work to find the perfect style."

The track follows Flatbush Zombies' recent now, more than ever EP, which arrived in June. Blake, meanwhile, released the new song "Are You Even Real?" last month.
