Late last year, Dinosaur Jr. announced they would soon hit the studio to record a new album, and it's now been revealed that the band's forthcoming effort has been completed.

The band's Lou Barlow shared the news yesterday (May 10) while livestreaming from his laundry room.

"We just finished mixing the Dinosaur Jr. record. 'Course we did it remotely," he said. "The gentleman named John Agnello who mixes all the Dinosaur records, mixed every one I've done in the last...what are we on, our fifth reunion record? He mixed it presumably by himself in a studio in North Carolina."

Barlow also shared that he contributed a pair of songs to record, noting that a third one didn't get finished due to the pandemic. You can watch him play one on the livestream below.

Dinosaur Jr.'s new album will follow 2016's Give a Glimpse of What Yer NotFrontman J Mascis released solo album Elastic Days in 2018.
