Dinosaur Jr. to Record New Album

The trio are "in the studio making...a new LP"

It's been just over three years since Dinosaur Jr. released their 11th studio album Give a Glimpse of What Yer Notand the trio have now started work on a follow-up effort.

The news was shared by guitarist Lou Barlow today, who posted a text message from manager Brian Schwartz confirming studio activity. In the caption, Barlow wrote, "once th snow stops ima get down t Js and get on w/ it."

This year, Dinosaur Jr. toured North America with Kurt Vile and Steve Gunn. In February, the trio scored themselves a Billboard chart hit with a 25-year-old song in Japan.
