Canadian rock veterans Danko Jones will celebrate their 25th anniversary this year, marking the occasion with a pair of livestream shows next month.

Performing from Hamilton's newly opened Bridgeworks venue, the band will broadcast their first-ever livestream on March 12 at 8 p.m ET in North America, followed by a European livestream on March 13 at 2 p.m. ET. Both shows will be available to stream globally.

Singer-guitarist and the band's namesake Danko Jones explains, "2021 is the 25th anniversary of our band. 25 years of non-stop performing, touring and recording."

He continued: "This has been the longest break in the history of our band so without a doubt. These livestreams will be like letting wild animals out of cages. Are you ready? We're goddamn ready."

The band have also hinted at the possibility of debuting new material during the streams, so fans would be wise to pay close attention.

Danko Jones' 25th anniversary livestream is presented in part by Exclaim! and Supercrawl. Tickets for March 12's North American event can be purchased here, while March 13's European tickets can be found here
