Daniel Romano Maps Out Canadian Tour Dates, Premieres "Fake Love Songs" Video

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 6, 2017

Prolific singer-songwriter Daniel Romano released his latest LP Modern Pressure back in the spring, and he's just unveiled plans to take it on the road through Western Canada early next year.

He'll roll through Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver, accompanied by his live band, the Jazz Police. The dates kick off on January 10 and wrap up on January 20, and you can see the full upcoming itinerary below.

To amp up anticipation for the forthcoming live shows, Romano has unveiled a brand new video for Modern Pressure track "Fake Love Songs."

The softly-lit clip captures some seriously sweet moves on rollerskates, thanks to director Cotey Pope.

"Roller-skating down the deserted streets of Sackville, New Brunswick I can't help but yearn for another time," Pope tells Exclaim! "The sound of rubber wheels rolling on uneven cement, the fluidity of constant motion, and the fleeting moment of summer's abrupt and inevitable end. Heartache is a part of life. The beauty of the disappearing moment captured on film for us to ache and pine for, infinitely."
