Hamilton's Because Beer Festival has announced its stacked lineup of performances running July 12, 13 and 14 at Pier 4 Park.

The three-day fest starts strong with Billy Talent, Cancer Bats, Chastity and Born in the Eighties, with support from local DJs.

Day two (July 13) sees the arrival of Tokyo Police Club (smack-dab in the early days of their farewell tour), as well as Dizzy, Cuff the Duke and another set by Born in the Eighties.

The closing night (July 14) will host sets by PUP, NOBRO, Daniel Romano's Outfit and Status/Non-Status.

In addition to all the musical acts, Because Beer will deliver on its namesake with wares and fare from dozens of top craft brewers and cideries from across Ontario.

Advance ticket sales — with three-day passes running for $98.99 plus fees and single-day tickets running for $44.99 — are open now via the Because Beer website, where you can also find VIP and hotel add-ons. The event is, obviously, limited to 19-plus attendees.
