After recently serving up some details behind their upcoming Boys LP, noise-pop whipper-snappers Crocodiles have offered up a psychedelic, distortion-soaked stream of previously-teased first single, "Crybaby Demon."
As with past explorations, Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell's latest number filters influences like the Jesus and Mary Chain into a fuzz-covered blanket of melodies, with Welchez's vocals one again resting comfortably above the haze. A lean, '60s R&B groove is snaked into the arrangement via overdriven organs and a slithering bass line.
It's bound to bring a tear to fans' eyes, and you can stream the single down below courtesy of Stereogum.
"Crybaby Demon" is available now on a 7-inch single, and will also pop up on Boys, which lands May 12 through Zoo Music.
