Converge Set Release Date for 'All We Love We Leave Behind'

While Massachusetts hardcore legends Converge just recently released a ripping split 7-inch with Napalm Death, fans have been anxiously awaiting a proper full-length from the troupe since it was announced they hit the studio last February. At the time, the then untitled Converge LP was expected to arrive sometime in September. Regrettably, the album won't arrive as previously scheduled, but the good news is that the record will drop in early October.

Not much about the disc has been revealed just yet, but Converged formally announced today (August 20) that the record will be titled All We Love We Leave Behind, and it will hit retailers October 9. As with their last few records, the new album will be handled by Epitaph and singer Jacob Bannon's Deathwish Inc. imprint.

As previously reported, the group's eight full-length effort, which follows 2009's Axe to Fall, was recorded by guitarist Kurt Ballou at his GodCity Studio.

The group will celebrate the new LP with a U.S. tour, with support from Torche, Kvelertak, Nails, and more. The trip won't make it into Canada, but you can peep those dates here.
