Have you been sitting around listening to Clutch's recent Earth Rocker LP thinking, "This is good... but I wonder what it would sound like live?" Well, then you're in for a treat, as the Maryland boogie monsters are ready to serve up exactly that via the cleverly titled concert LP, Earth Rocker Live.
The concert set drops November 26 through the band's own their own Weathermaker Music as a double-LP picture disc. The first platter is the studio version of Earth Rocker, while the second slab of wax is a compilation of live recordings sequenced in the same order as the original LP.
The live tracks weren't culled from just one concert, with the record featuring onstage performances captured in Houston and San Antonio, TX; Lincoln, NB; Indianapolis, IN; and Fargo, ND.
Ever the road warriors, Clutch also start up another U.S. tour tonight (October 25) in Hampton Beach, NH. They have shows booked off and on into the new year, and you can see their itinerary over here.
